The manufacturing process of industrial formaldehyde primarily utilizes methanol oxidation. Our engineering teams utilize both the silver catalyst process (dehydrogenation-oxidation at 600°C–720°C) and the metal oxide process (iron-molybdenum catalyst at 300°C–400°C). By optimizing these pathways, Runtai achieves high methanol conversion rates and reduces free formic acid levels in the final product to less than 150 ppm, minimizing downstream resin corrosion risks.
